2.30 pm - 3.30pm Baton Twirling, Military Freestyle & Cheerleading for all children aged 3 years and upwards
3.30 pm - 4.30 pm Streetdance for all children aged 3 years old and upwards.

Batons of Steel Majorettes are proud to annouce that Julia will be joining them as from the 21st January 2010 as a Qualified Cheerleading Teacher.
Julia is a Qualified teacher of the I.S.T.D. (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), I.D.T.A. (International Dance Teachers Association) and the U.K.C.A. (UK Cheerleading Association).
Julia has been running her own dance school for the past seven years and she also works in many schools throughout North Lincolnshire, coaching Dance and Cheerleading.
Julia now hopes to bring her Cheerleading Skills to the children of Batons Of Steel Majorettes, and is looking forward to joining the team full time in 2010.
On behalf of everyone at Batons of Steel Majorettes I would like to welcome her and I strongly believe she will be a great asset to Batons of Steel Majorettes in the future..........Shelley (Troupe Leader).

We are proud to announce that Batons of Steel Majorettes have now introduced Individual Gradings for 2010. We are hoping that this will give the children more confidence, self esteem and a goal to aim for.

Batons of Steel Majorettes are proud to annouce that Hayley will be joining them as from the 17th October 2009 as our New Dance Teacher. Hayley has been trained professionally as a Disco Freestyle/Hip Hop Teacher and is I.S.T.D. (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) Qualified.
Hayley began dancing at the age of four in both disco freestyle and ballroom/latin, during which time she entered many competitions throughout the country. Starting at beginner status and working her way up to a championship dancer, gaining many trophies along the way.
With her dancing skills Hayley worked abroad in Dubai and Turkey. For the past two years she has appeared in pantomime at the local Plowright Theatre for Tony Peers Productions, and this year see her appearing yet again. She has also toured the UK with Tony Peers Productions performing in theatres such as Birmingham Alexandra Theatre.
Since passing her teaching exam in Disco/Freestyle Dance, trained at the highest society (I.S.T.D) Hayley teaches along side her Principal at a local dance school and attends a local junior school twice a week for after school classes.
Hayley now hopes to bring her Dancing Skills to the children of Batons Of Steel Majorettes, and is looking forward to join the team full time in 2010.

Batons of Steel are proud to annouce that they have enrolled their first boy to the troupe. The whole troupe would like to welcome Alex Alton aged 8 to Batons of Steel.

Summer Fun
Batons of Steel Majorettes will be opening their doors to the community today at the following venues:-
Frodingham Community Centre, Rowland Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 1TA.
Mondays 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th August 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 a.m.
Brumby Community Centre, East Common Lane, Scunthorpe, DN16 1HL.
Tuesdays 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th August 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 a.m.

Activities will include Baton Twirling, Cheerleading, Dance and Games.

The sessions are completely Free.

Open to ages 3-16 years, suitable for both girls and boys.

Please wear suitable shoes and clothing.
