During 2010 we have appeared at over 40 events including Fetes, Galas, Parades and Shows and Out of School Clubs and we already have bookings for 2011.
Batons of Steel are members of the United Baton Twirlers Association (U.B.T), Great Britain Baton Twirling Association (G.B.B.T.A) and the British Isles Baton Twirling Association (B.I.B.T.A) and complete at National Level at least once a year although it is not compulsory that any child enters it is only if the child wishes to do so.
2011 promises to be a very exciting year for Batons of Steel as we are embarking on new projects to help the local children in our area. During 2011 Summer Holidays we are holding Summer Fun sessions twice a week for all children 3 years and upwards, this is our way of giving something back to the community and it benefits all children.
We now have official Sponsorship from Dandi Lions Playzone in Scunthorpe and Frankie and Benny's in Scunthorpe. We would like to say a massive thank you to Jo, Pete and Lesley for making this possible.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the running of Batons of Steel and a special thanks to all the businesses and individuals who have supported us either with donations or sponsorships.
